How can we help you?
Everything you need to know about our repair process, pricing, parts, and privacy.
⏱ Turnaround & Process
01 How long does a standard repair take?
Most common repairs — like smartphone screen replacements or battery swaps — are completed within 1–2 hours of drop-off or technician arrival. Complex repairs (motherboard issues, water damage) may take 24–48 hours depending on parts availability.
02 Do I need to book an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome at our physical hubs, but we highly recommend booking online. Booking ahead ensures we have the specific parts in stock and a technician ready immediately — saving you time.
03 Do you offer on-site or home-service repairs?
Yes! RepairBirds offers on-site repair services in select cities. Our certified technicians can come to your home, office, or a local coffee shop to fix your device right in front of you.

04 How does the Device Diagnosis service work?
Not sure what is wrong? Bring your device in (or send it) for a full diagnosis. Our technicians will test the hardware and software, identify the root problem, and give you a transparent, no-obligation quote before any repair work begins.
05 Can I mail in my device for repair?
Absolutely. Book a repair online and we will provide instructions on how to securely package and ship your device to our closest service center. We repair it and ship it right back!
💰 Pricing & Payment
06 How much will my repair cost?
Costs vary by device brand, model, and damage type. We believe in total transparency — check estimated prices on our service pages, or request a free diagnostic for an accurate quote.
07 Is there a diagnostic fee if I decide not to proceed?
If you proceed with the repair, the diagnostic is completely free. If you choose not to proceed after diagnosis, a small standard diagnostic fee applies for the technician's time and labor.
08 Do you offer price matching?
We strive to offer the most competitive pricing for high-quality repairs. If you find a lower price from a local, certified competitor using the same grade of parts, let us know — we will do our best to match it.
09 Can I trade in my old device to pay for a repair?
Yes! Through our Device Trade-In program you can trade in old or broken smartphones, tablets, or laptops. We assess the device's value and apply it as credit toward your current repair, or give you cash.
🛡 Parts & Warranties
10 What kind of parts do you use?
We primarily use Premium/OEM-grade parts that match your device's exact specifications. We also offer high-quality aftermarket parts for cost-conscious customers — great value without sacrificing reliability.
11 Do your repairs come with a warranty?
Yes, all services come with a standard limited warranty covering defects in the parts installed and the labor provided. If a replacement part malfunctions through no fault of yours, we replace it for free.

12 What does the warranty not cover?
Our warranty does not cover accidental damage after the repair (e.g. dropping a newly installed screen), water damage, or software issues unrelated to the hardware repair we performed.
13 Do you offer Device Insurance?
Yes, we offer custom device insurance plans covering future accidental damage, liquid damage, and hardware failures. Highly recommended for newer, expensive devices.
14 What is the Bring Your Own Part (BYOP) service?
Already have a replacement screen, battery, or component? Our technicians can install it for you at a flat labor rate. Note: our standard parts warranty does not apply to BYOP repairs, as we cannot guarantee third-party part quality.
📱 Supported Devices
15 Do you fix laptops and computers, or just phones?
We repair it all! Beyond smartphones (iPhone, Samsung, etc.), we have specialized technicians for laptops (MacBook, PC, Chromebook), desktop computers, game consoles (PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), and even televisions.
16 Can you fix a phone that has been dropped in water?
Yes, we provide specialized water damage recovery. Important: turn the device off immediately, do not plug it into a charger, and get it to us as quickly as possible. The sooner we can clean the logic board, the higher the chance of saving it.

🔒 Privacy & Data Security
18 Will I lose my data during the repair?
For most hardware repairs (screens, batteries), your data is 100% safe. However, if your device requires a motherboard repair or software flash, data loss is possible — always back up beforehand.
19 Do I need to back up my data before bringing it in?
We strongly advise backing up your device to the cloud or a computer before any repair. While we take every precaution, unexpected failures can occur with heavily damaged electronics.

20 Will your technicians look through my personal files?
Never. Our technicians only access parts of your device necessary to test the specific repair (e.g. testing the camera app after a lens replacement). You can even watch the repair in-store or during a home visit.
